Welcome to Camellia Farmhouse!

This historic 1857 farmhouse has been lovingly restored for your next trip to the Oregon Wine Country.

Camellia is a short four-block walk to downtown Newberg, with great restaurants, wine tasting, bakeries, upscale shops, farm-stands and great antique stores. Three of the highest rated restaurants in Oregon are a 10-15 minute walk from the house.

Camellia is located in the heart of Oregon Wine Country.  There is ample space for your friends and family to gather, as well as room and privacy for quiet moments or multiple Zoom meetings on our business speed WiFi.

Cozy up to the original outdoor stone fireplace, discover the Secret Speakeasy, soak in our top-line 10-person spa, and relax by the fire pit and outdoor dining pavilion. During the warmer months, there is a large stock tank/cowboy pool for your kiddos or your pups to enjoy.

The farmhouse is designed with the goal of relaxation, enjoyment and productivity during your time here in the heart of Wine Country.

We believe Camellia is the original farmstead home of one of the original pioneer settlers of Yamhill County. She has been enlarged and updated over the years, but required significant improvements when we purchased her in December 2020.

Although we have completed significant luxury upgrades, she is still a funky old farmhouse.

Walls and ceilings are not completely square, stairs squeak, and the former owners created a large master suite that taller guests need to duck on entering (there are signs to remind you).

There is a 12 x 20 foot outdoor dining pavilion that is covered in grape vines during the summer.  It will look out over the trees with the sounds of the creek running down below.

The beds are all premium mattresses with high-end linens. There are multiple places to gather and lounge, inside and out. The kitchen has new high-end appliances and a gas stove for the chefs.

There are large (up to 72”) TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Business speed Wi-Fi. Amazon Music with Alexa and Bluetooth speakers.

Our Secret Speakeasy invites you to relax and raise a glass, play one of our board games or have a match on our Marvel Comics pinball machine, or enjoy a quiet spot to work.

The lot is large and enclosed to allow kids and pups to roam safely. The view from the back is lovely, with old-growth trees and a view down to the ravine and trees surrounding the creek below.

This is a great opportunity to be close to town while feeling like you are in your own private refuge.
