This three bedroom plus den, two bath home features amazing whitewater and Yaquina lighthouse views from its oceanfront street location. You can look for whales spouting or fishing boats offshore while relaxing at the front yard bar or on the whale watch deck. The house is securely located 90 feet above sea level.
The home has been recently renovated, and is decorated in a wonderfully unique western/camp/surf style that will appeal to kids of any age. Upgraded business-speed internet lets you work or study with confidence.
The home is full of amenities. Cozy up to the gas stone fireplace, take a relaxing sauna or soak in the high-end hot tub. Climb to the rooftop deck to watch for whales and fishing boats. Little campers have their very own getaway in the kids hideaway play loft.
All bedrooms feature premium mattresses and high-quality linens. Each bedroom is unique with barn doors, hardwood floors, handcrafted lights and carefully chosen furnishings for your comfort. The master bedroom offers a TV and fireplace, while a second bedroom connects to the den and can be combined as a second master suite.
The den offers a flat-screen wall-mounted fireplace and a convertible leather sofa to accommodate an additional guest.
Hit the beach and find yourself exploring miles of sandy shore. Head left and walk to the shops, restaurants and galleries of Nye Beach, a hip and historic beach community. Take a right and hunt for agates and sea shells at the cliffs below the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. On your return, people and pets can rinse off in our outdoor warm water shower.
Rainy day? No problem. The aquariums, restaurants, museums, performing arts venues and shops of Newport are all less than five minutes away.
Inside the home, you can enjoy a romantic fire, soak in the high-end spa, take a sauna or watch a movie on the HD flatscreen TV's. A new addition is a 100" high-Rez projector and screen for movie nights (Netflix and Amazon Prime) or gaming on your system and stereo Bluetooth speakers.
There are also many books, puzzles and games for the family to enjoy. Little campers will especially enjoy the cozy kids hideaway loft furnished with beanbag chairs.
The home features four fireplaces (one gas, three electric), a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and copper counters, expansive decks with a built-in bar, a rooftop deck/whale watching platform, and an outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off both people and pets after a fun day at the beach.
The dining area seats six, with additional bar seating for three, all with that incredible ocean view.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $250.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
About the Owner
We are former San Diegans who now live in Oregon, and love to travel with our Rottweilers. Roy is a physician, and Lauri's background is in commercial real estate, so vacation rentals started as a sideline. We bought our first vacation rental as a weekend getaway with our dogs, and loved it so much we decided to open it to other dog-loving travelers who also wanted a getaway. The home was soon booked up, a movie was filmed on-site, and many guests returned on a regular basis to enjoy the home we loved so much. Since then, we have stayed in many vacation rentals, with and without our dogs, and have used our stays to develop best practices to welcome our guests on their vacations. Our passion is to create amazing homes that our guests will love: An amazing location, unique and stylish decor, superb comfort, a calming ambiance, and fun for the whole group.
